OWEN'S POV

“Father-” I started but he silenced me immediately with a glare and I immediately kept shut. This is gonna be a long talk.

“Where have you been since the last two weeks?” He asked and as I opened my mouth to answer, he cut me short with a tsk.

“I don't know why you always choose to be so irresponsible! You brought a girl home, fine. But you abandoned like she was some kind of home property! Didn't you try to consider her feelings!? Do you know what she's been going through because you weren't home?” He yelled in his hoarse tone and I could feel my legs trembling.

“Father, it was not my fault-”

“Then whose fault is it? Mine!? Listen, I don't care what you and your mother already decided on, but I won't let you leave Charlotte for anybody else! Especially not Catherine!” He said and I scoffed in disbelief.
