Benjamin's words carried a strong sense of powerlessness.

But some things couldn't be compensated for with words.

Grace raised an eyebrow slightly and smiled. "You didn't do anything wrong, Mr. Hawkins. Why should you apologize?"

Benjamin shook his head. "This apology is from the old me."

"Stop it, Mr. Hawkins."

As Grace said that, she looked at Olivia, who wasn't far away. "I intend to get to the bottom of this matter."

"Okay, I support any decision you make." Benjamin had already made his stance clear.

Olivia panicked. "Benjamin, are you also going to side with this arrogant woman? Your cousin is lying in that bed!"

Benjamin remained indifferent. "We're all adults. We have to take responsibility for our actions."

"What did Geraldine do that you're treating her like this? Remember, she's the one lying in the hospital bed now!"

Olivia was seething. "I don't care what you're planning to do, but don't even think about laying a hand on Geraldine."
