Roberick knew that the responsibility for Cynthia's wellbeing and her integration into Arodona now rested heavily on his shoulders. She had suffered enough, and it was time for her to be embraced by the kingdom rather than being seen as an outsider.

One evening, as the sun painted the sky in hues of orange and pink, King Roberick sought out Cynthia. She had been residing in the palace since her rescue from the jungle, still recovering from her ordeal. He found her in a quiet garden, her gaze fixed on the horizon.

Approaching her with a soft smile, Roberick said, "Cynthia, may I join you?"

She turned to him, her eyes filled with a mixture of gratitude and curiosity. "Of course, Your Majesty."

Roberick took a seat beside her, and for a while, they simply enjoyed the serenity of the garden. Then, breaking the silence, he spoke, "I wanted to personally apologize for what you endured in the prohibited jungle. It was an inexcusable act, and I assure you, it will not go unpunished."
