Chapter 119

I didn’t know how I slept off or when I slept off but I woke up on my bed and as the first light hit my eyes it all came rolling back with distinctive pictures.

I was hoping secretly that it was all a nightmare and everything that happened the day before wasn’t real.

But who was I kidding, the moon goddess never had me as her favourite and couldn’t personally just wave this off for me.

I stood up, holding it all in, reminding myself that I needed to be strong and not break down for anyone as I needed to be strong to get Jaden back.

I walked out of my room and stood in front of his closed door as I was faced straight at it and I didn’t know what to do or say.

By now I should either be knocking to enter his room to get him ready for school or if as it should have been, we should have been talking about his birthday presents from yesterday and how surprised he was.

I should be staring at his face with the cutest smile on it, with those smart and bright features
