°❤️° Jennifer' POV °❤️°
"Shit" I cursed under my breath as I wake up in my best friend's bedroom.
I sit up on the bed as I look around, my heart thumping against my chest. I hear the door creaking open.
"Oh, you're awake.." Edward chimes as he enters the bedroom. "You should get ready before we're both late" he chuckles as he sits down on the bed, the mattress sinking with his weight. I curl my legs towards me, avoiding touching him.
"What happened?" I rubbed my eyes, trying to get myself more alert before looking back at him.
"You fell asleep peacefully on my bed" his head tilting to the right as his lips stretching into a warm smile.
"I'm so sorry-"
"It's okay, forget about it." He laughs. "Just go get ready" he shooed me out of his room into my room.
I enter into my room and I run to my washroom where I get ready and meet with Edward outside in the hallway.
"Let's go..." he chimes. He gestures to me to walk before he so I did. And we reach the bus stop to take the bus.
The bus ride is almost silent but not an awkward one. It is weird how I'm getting closer to my Edward.
"You should come over tonight," he says and I snap towards his direction.
"I'm sorry???" I say, hoping he'd repeat himself.
"No-No, not like that." He chokes himself with his own words as he laughs bashfully, the corner of his eyes crinkling with the wide smile.
"Come over so that we can pick up from where we left off," Edward said with a nod then pauses because it sounded worse and winces. His head tics to the side as he tries to find the right words
"Where we left off with the math book in the class." He finally finished clearing, his throat and tugging at the collar of his shirt.
"Alright" I respond softly, looking out of the window of the bus, feeling the heat crawling up my neck.
And we reach the campus. "We're here" Edward look at me from the side and to break the awkward silence I speak out, " Thank you"
"For what?" his brows knitted together, a look of genuine confusion painting his face.
"Umm... about the last night... to cheering me up..." I look at him and he shakes his head.
"Don't mention it." He grins showing his boxy smile, looking satisfied.
I walk into the lecture hall with Edward. My every day usually starts badly but now getting brightened up my best friend on which I can count to make me smile, as well as Jacob who has the ability to grows enjoyment whenever we all hang out together.
I take my usual seat to get comfortable, Edward joins me and sits beside me. I feel better to have him by my side, this makes the weight of my worries a bit lighter on my shoulder.
"So while the professor is not here we can take this opportunity to talk more." he drops his bag down at the feet of the table to turn towards me. "We've talked all-night-long Eddie" I smile at him, finding his enthusiasm cute. " Yes, but you fell asleep early, remember? so that wasn't the talk.." his adorable teeth come with insight as his lips cleared the way out.
"Are you trying to get her to be more than just a friend Eddie?" Jacob who's seated right at the desk behind us all by himself leans over to get closer to us. His shiny face lightening my sight. Edward slaps his forehead and gives him a judging look. " You dumb ass."
I quietly laugh at his expression but glance away, for my eyes to be directed straight forward.
"Hey. You seem tense my cupcake, are you stress about the test of math?" he closes the gap distancing us to grin at me. "I.....am....a lot..."
"Wait" he stands up abruptly, not giving any explanation, he steps in my back and starts to give me a message on the shoulders, releasing some of the terrible tension that I always have in that area. "Geez...your muscles are like rocks, you should relax sometimes....." he keeps on going with his slender fingers, making me laugh at his remarks. " I know but that's easier to say than to do. "
❤️ Timothy' POV ❤️
I walk towards the classroom I always miss once I'm away, that one into which I know I'll be able to see the girl who brings a lot of weird feelings into me. I step towards the opened door but was stopped by a colleague. "Hey, professor Timothy, sorry to waste your time right now but I need to let you know that I talked to the director about the project...." he keeps on speaking to me as I'm nodding to his explanations.
My eyes drift away for a short split of seconds, to fall upon Jennifer, being massaged by Edward, the boy which she seems to be pretty close lately. I try to focus on the sayings of the man standing in front of me, but an urge keeps on overwhelming me, and my veins burn up every time I discern his hand on her shoulders, the way he kneads them, her closed eyes that must be an instinct reaction to some pleasure. "Is it okay for this weekend?" his voice magnifies in volume as if I was away for a moment.
I blink several times, taking a deep breath to make up my mind, and answer blankly, " Yes."
"Perfect, see you there and good luck with your students," he gives me a cheerful tap on my shoulder and leaves my sight to walk away. I enter in the room with already the anger inside of me just to see the closeness between her and that boy.
Everybody stands up to greet me and Jennifer's gleaming eyes meet mine as Edward stepped aside to stop what he was doing. "You can sit down." I clench my jaw and put my stuff onto my desk, already hating the way she's averting my gaze.
What the hell is he doing next to her.
"Edward, retrieve your seat please," I ordered him to get back at the table behind the one he's occupying with the girl who's mine. " S----Sir.... why can't I sit here?"
"Because I say so..." I sigh and keep my eyes directed straight into his, not in the mood to repeat myself. He stood up as told and gathers up all his belongings to get on his usual seat and let Jennifer alone.
She crosses her arms against her appealing breast, the curve of them standing out by the way her arms are perfectly placed.
I hurry myself to divert my attention to something else and roll up my sleeves up, " Is there a volunteer to hand out the paper of yesterday?" I take the stock of the paper out from my black leather briefcase, checking if some hands are raised. "Miss Jennifer" I call her out intentionally as only thirsty girls raised their hands to have the opportunity to be close to me or have my attention. I gaze at her as she's coming up to me without giving me just a glance. She grabs hold of the sheets of paper and turns around, to do what I told her without retorting.
I sit down to tell everyone to open their books on the last page we arrived at the end of the course. I open my laptop to check the records of each student in this classroom and their points, in order to make a report for the director. On the other hand, I can't help myself but snatch a glance at Jennifer, walking past the different desks, while also checking other students to not get myself caught checking her out. I need to control myself.
❤️ Timothy' POV❤️Everyone was doing their work, except Jennifer, I get up from my seat and take a tour of the classroom, checking everyone if they're doing their work or not. I reach to her seat and find her writing something but it's not the math exercise that I told everyone to do. What is she writing with so much concentration? I peek at her notebook, I take a glimpse of some words which gives a fire sensation into my body. "I know your good at writing novels, but miss Jennifer this is not the right time to do it." She jumps on her seat by my voice and shut her notebook to hide the things that she wrote and look straight away. I flatten my hand on her desk and bend over to look at her face. "What were you writing Miss Jennifer?". I ask her still known what was it. She doesn't answer me but just toy with her pen. So I snatch her n
❤️❤️❤️ Jennifer' POV❤️❤️❤️ ❤️NEXT DAY❤️"Your writing skills are stunning...."I halt my way at the sound of this sentence when I was in front of my classroom door, not believing what he just said and what it means. I turn around to look at him, standing on his spot with his leather bag in his hand and his strong arms on which is hung his black jacket, and he's staring at me with his pitch-black eyes that always have a strong impact and power on me, no matter the expression and emotions they exude, I'm always enthralled. "What did you say?" I hold my breath back, feeling certain pressure onto my shoulders just to imagine him reading my notebook and my personal story. " I like the way you write."
❤️ Jennifer' POV ❤️❤️NEXT DAY❤️I come early before Edward today because I need to retrieve my notebook from that monster. I walk in the direction of the classroom to finally face the room, slide open the door, and go inside. He was already there, his hands tucked in his pockets and leaning back on the sliding door he looks at me and locked the door behind us."Give me my not----" I shut my mouth from shock as his hands grabbed my arm to pin me against the wall. His strong body pressed on mine with his hands firmly laid on the flat surface hurting my back. He looks deeply into my eyes, his sharp and warm breathing heating on my skin as the current closeness making me choke on air."Why were you holding his hand?" he grabbed my jaw with his on-hand tightly, squeezing my cheeks. He rasps in a steady but in a strict voice,
❤️ Jennifer' POV❤️"Who is Eric Gray?"I ask them to get confused about whom they are talking about and why they all are scared of him. They all look at me with a shock like I've asked which I shouldn't..."Yaa.... you really don't know who is he or are you just pretending that you don't?" the guy with blonde hair asks me with a cocky smile."She's not pretending, she really doesn't know him because she's always busy with her studies so she's doesn't have time to know about him... Anyway, there's nothing special about him to be known about, okay....". Edward pushes him back to make some space between me and Blake."What the shit are you talking Eddie, that there's nothing special about him.....dude he's the star baseball player of our school, have you forgotten??" Blake asks him in amusement but Edward ro
❤️ Jennifer' POV❤️My feet get a freeze on the spot after listening to my name on the radio announcement. Now everyone in the school will bully me, again I'll be the center of everyone's attention ✨But still, I followed them where they are taking Eric. I can feel that everyone is looking at me with disdainful eyes. I can hear my name between their curses. They are saying that Eric got injured for blocking a ball for me with his bare hand and I'm a bitch who only knows how to seduce boys.We reach the locker room but some people blocked my way to go inside. I try to look inside if I could see Eric but I see our principal, standing in front of him ." What do we do with your hand? Can he play with his hand like this in the next game?" first he ask Eric but then he turn towards the coach and ask him. "The hospital said that it will be hard for him to play
❤️AFTER SCHOOL ❤️LOCATION:- BACKSIDE OF THE SCHOOL ❤️ ❤️ Edward' POV❤️I'm sitting on a bench waiting for Jennifer at the backside of our school. It's the place where we three, me, Jacob, and Jennifer hangout together usually when we don't have any classes. I waited for her for ten minutes and then I see her coming towards me. "Hey, Eddie. What are you doing ?" she is walking like a zombie, probably she's so tired after what happened in the school. " Why are you waiting for me?" she asks standing in front of me. "I was worried as I can't control you." I stand up and reply."Worry about me? huh, liar," she said with some mocking."You don't know how this Oppa feels." I rub her head to tease her. she always gets mad whenever I mess her hair."Opp
❤️ Jennifer' POV❤️As Edward warned me about Eric he started bullying me in different ways, he orders me to do so many works and if I do it then he picks out some mistakes and orders me to do it again. Don't know why he's like this even I know his injury isn't because of me but still I decided to help him but now he's going overboard. I came into the locker room as he has ordered me to wipe his helmet with a cloth and to make it shine like a new one. I was rubbing his helmet with a cloth when he came inside," Hey. Radio Jockey. I filled in the questionnaire." he handed me those papers of questions which I needed to ask him in the interview. I giggled to see it and thanked him. "Ah don't thank me and I didn't get injured because of you. I just made a mistake. Anyway, this is the first rest since I started baseball. I really wanted to take this rest
❤️ PRESENT DAY ❤️ ❤️ Timothy POV❤️As always I come early to school. I parked my car in the parking area and unbuckled my seatbelt. I open the car door and came out. I put my jacket on and walk towards the school building to search for Jennifer.I heard from some students that she's helping Eric with his right hand because she is the reason behind his injured hand. Bullshit!I was on my way to the lockers when I saw Eric going inside with some papers in his hand. I wonder why is he looking happy and smiling. I take long steps to reach there. I opened the door and Eric smiling at her and she was giggling like a small child looking at those papers. After a few seconds Eric requested her to meet him on the baseball ground after an hour, she agreed and he stands up to come out. I back off and hide behind the wall. What is it that he wants
It was time to go home. Edward couldn’t decide if he was more excited or more anxious about it. Everything had been going so well between him and Vanessa, but that was on vacation. Now it was time to go back to the real world. It didn’t help that everything felt like a rush. A rush to get the rental back into order. A rush to pack everything. A rush to get to the airport on time. ~ WEEKS LATER ~~ Edward was on his computer in his home office when Vanessa came in to check on him. “Work?” Vanessa asked curiously, her hair was still wet from the shower she’d just taken.
Had Vanessa ever been more surprised than the moment when Edward told Nick they were a couple? If so, she couldn’t recall. She was still in dismay even after they came back to the villa. If you’d asked her what she would have expected Edward to say it would be a dismissive answer or not to reply at all.For Edward to so casually say that they were together kind of blew her mind. She was torn between wanting to ask Edward a million questions, play it cool, and tear off his clothes on the spot. But of course, they were surrounded by friends so she mostly just had an internal battle withherself.Sure enough, as the storm picked up outside the house suddenly went dark. Al
Edward was trying to distract his attention from the temptation of Vanessa but no matter how hard he tried it wasn’t working. He was shuffling in his seat, trying to talk with others to keep him distracted. He was talking with Jacob when they were distracted by the notification sound of Jacob’s phone. They both looked at his phone and they frowned upon it. It was the message from the secretary of Edward’s mother.“What’s it about?” Edward asked with a scowl.Jacob tapped on the screen of his phone and he was amazed by the content.“It worked, Edward.” He said with excitement, his voice was a little too h
Someone was being loud in the house. That wasn’t surprising. But what was surprising was that Edward quickly realized he wasn’t alone in his bed.Without opening his eyes Edward could feel the comforting weight of Vanessa’s body half flung over his. A leg was tangled in between his, an arm wrapped around him, and a face pressed against his neck.As he blinked and took stock of his bedroom he realized they must have fallen asleep watching television because it was actually still on.He remembered the butterflies in his stomach when Vanessa had curled up closer to him the night before, but the cuddling must have just happened when they fell asleep.Really he was helpless to bring his fingers up through Vanessa’s hair, enjoying the sleepy groan that
It was a weird phenom to always want to shower after going to the beach. Between the sand, sunscreen, and sweat it was impossible not to feel gross after a day by the water.Since they were in a house full of people Vanessa was mindful only to take a quick shower so they didn’t run out of hot water. She did take the time to blow dry her hair out though.Eric had made it clear that they were on their own for the night since he was dragging Emma out into town for a quiet dinner together.Vanessa didn't blame him but she also had no idea what the others were thinking about doing. After throwing on new clothes, she went downstairs to find that Jacob was already in the living room.“Everyone else still showering?&rdquo
It’s been 2 months since Edward and Vanessa had separated their ways for good. It’s been 2 months since they last talked. It’s been 2 months since Edward asked Vanessa to wait for him. It’s been 2 months since they’ve both been holding up their hearts for each other but they’ve been apart. It’s already been 2 months and lots of things have changed around them.In these two months, Edward was trying to get a single chance to catch his uncle red-handed to throw him out of his company and behind the bars.He had gathered enough proof against his uncle for all his wrongdoing. He had planned to get his uncle’s most loyal people on his side and he was getting so close to the truth. All he needed to do was
~ EDWARD~I felt awful the next day. I knew that I’d messed up as soon as Vanessa had left her work without so much as coming to say goodbye first. Then going to talk to her later had just made me realize how bothered Vanessa had been lately.I knew that we’d been off, but it seemed like things were just getting worse. My first instinct was usually to bury myself in work, but instead of going into the office, I decided to stay home that day.As soon as I worked up the nerve I texted Vanessa to see when we could talk and then waited. The longer that Vanessa took to get back to me the more nervous I got.I couldn’t even really focus on getting any work done because I kept checking my phone. When I got texts fr
It was a weird feeling being both absolutely head over heels for someone and watching what they were doing with such disappointment and sorrow.Vanessa had never been happier with anyone before which only made it harder to suddenly feel like it was slipping away from her. As much as Edward liked to take care of her when he was around, that didn’t stop him from falling back into his habit of letting work overrun his life.Vanessa understood it, she really did. Just like she loved working in that cafe and could lose herself in it, so did Edward with his company’s work.Unlike Edward though, Vanessa didn’t let her passion get in the way of the other aspects of her life.It was a little different because it was also Edward’s career on the line, but wh
In some ways being with Vanessa was the easiest thing in the world, but in some ways, it was the hardest thing for Edward. It wasn’t always easy to shut off the part of his brain that just wanted to keep working on his company’s issue day long. He loved it. But he also loved being around Vanessa. The part that was the most difficult was how easy it was for him to stay at work long hours on days when he knew he wouldn’t be seeing Vanessa. When Vanessa had worked all that Edward would do was stay at work. His schedule only changed when he needed it to.Logically he knew that he hadn’t really changed his ways that much at all. He was still putting in long hours, just adjusting them around Vanessa’s schedule.
