Chapter 308

Vivienne stared at the voice recorder in Sophie's hand and then glared at Liora, who was hanging her head to the side. "You actually plotted against me?!"

"Ms. Kerrigan, I've helped you carry out your evil scheme against my conscience. But you have no intention of keeping your word and telling me where Alfred is. I had no choice but to reveal the truth."

Liora raised her head. Lately, whenever she shut her eyes, an image haunted her: a child lying on the floor, blood seeping from the back of his head. Sleep eluded her night after night, urging her to confront Vivienne about Alfred's whereabouts. Unable to wait any longer, she discreetly slipped into the hospital, determined to confront her.

To her surprise, she was stopped as soon as she entered.

"It's you who asked her to do this!" Vivienne immediately grasped the situation. She took a step forward to reach Sophie, but a journalist intercepted her before she could even touch Sophie's clothes.
