Chapter 188

Thinking of the gloating expressions on those people's faces, Vivienne could not control her frustration any longer. She angrily threw her coat onto the couch and sat down.

"Mommy, I'm sorry. I won't do it again." Tristan's eyes flickered with unease. He cautiously approached Vivienne, wanting to reach out and apologize.

Before he could touch her, she impatiently pushed him away.

Tristan was not prepared for such a reaction at all, and the back of his head hit the sharp corner of the coffee table, causing his small face to contort in pain.

A flash of distress flashed across Vivienne's eyes. She wanted to get up, but her anger overcame her eagerness. Impatiently, she glanced at Tristan on the ground and said irritably, "Aren't you going to get up? What are you waiting for?"
