"okay, it's time for the last stage of your physical training. You've done well with the other ones, I'm sure they've built you up for this last stage by; building up your speed, agility and strength" Demi stated proudly, while Elle listened with a prod smile on her face.
It's been a week since her last training, it honestly hasn't been easy managing her training while trying to get answers to her numerous questions and it's safe to say she hasn't gotten anywhere. Rus didn't make it any easier with his horrible mood and annoying attitude but Demi's calmness and gentleness made it easier.
She also spent the past days regularly visiting Ansel, she can't explain it but there's this gentleness and peace whenever she's around him; she can't figure out if it's his energy or the serenity or the place, but staying beside him and talking to him even tho he obviously doesn't respond makes her feel so much better.
Elle ran into the cove hoping to meet Mamock but instead, she met the other 3 sitting on a bench with bunch of papers littered in front of them. "Hi, I mean good evening" Elle greeted the group, breathing heavily."Good evening, are you okay?" Ruri asked concernedly while Rus and Demi stared at her in confusion."Yeah I'm absolutely fine, I just ran over here to exercise more" Elle said lying through her teeth. Ruri stared at her for a while before nodding her head, not believing her. "Umm.. where's Mamock? I don't see her around" she tried looking out of the cove to see if she's out there."Mamock isn't here, is there any problem?" Ruri asked not looking up from her paper work. Elle stood there deliberating if she should tell them or not "if there's no problem, please leave Elle. We are quite busy" Ruri said and turned back to her work. Elle stood there for a little while longer before she shook her head and left, no matter how har
"I hope this is my last day doing this" Elle said out of breath; she kept throwing punches after punches at the punching bag and beads of sweat rolled down her face"Well it'll be if you actually punch open that punching bag" Rus said bluntly. He was exhausted too but he just can't stop the training, he doesn't know how much time they have left and he'd rather not get on Mamock's bad side."I'm tired" Elle said and stopped punching the bag, her hands on her knees as she tried to catch her breath. She hasn't had a single break since morning, from the jogging to the fist exercises to the endless punching she has been doing.Rus looked at her with pity "take 10" he walked off the moment he said that, he needs a break too but he isn't about to show her that.Demi walked over to Elle and handed her a towel and a bottle of water, Elle took them almost immediately and downed the entire
"Alright, go on in and have some rest" Mamock said to Elle. She brought her back home herself to ensure she got home safely, the poor girl was too tired to even stand up on her; zapping energy after mind relaxation is always very draining the first time."Thank you for bringing me back" Elle muttered and walked into the apartment. Mamock stood there for a while and muttered a sealing and a protection spell before she left, at this point she honestly can't trust anyone so she has to keep Elle safe at all cost, especially with the new information she got.Elle headed straight to her room, laid on the bed and fell asleep. She doesn't know why she became exhausted after doing what Mamock said, but right now isn't the time to rack her brains for answers. She'll sleep and figure it out in the morning.*"Amanda and Ansel stood in front of the field looking at the numerous bodies laying on the floor. Some
"My life's kind of like a joke" Elle muttered and collapsed on her bed, she got back from the cove 30 minutes ago and she has been stuffing herself with food. The idea of being Amanda's reincarnation doesn't sit right with her, she's working hard to actually be a very good life force here but now, that single information crashed her entire existence."I'm just a Shadow of someone that I don't even know" she muttered to herself. She laid on the bed staring at the wall in front of her, a small sad smile crept on her face and she shook her head "no, my name is Elle not Amanda. I might be her reincarnation but I'm still Elle,I refuse to be a shadow of her to these people even if it means working my butt off. I wasn't born to be someone else's shadow" She reassured herself in a quiet tone as she slowly fell asleep."Wake up!" The alarm blared loudly, jolting Elle awake and making her throw the alarm acros
"You mean to tell me that all these while, you've been stuck in between life and death? Like an endless void?" Elle asked and Ansel nodded his head."Yes and I tried very hard, numerous times to break free from it but there was always a block. Then one day, I felt a completely different energy in the void, that was the first time I felt something different and I believe it's the first time you came here" Elle stared at nothing as Ansel narrated the story."I felt it for a while before it disappeared again and I was thrown back into the endless void, but thankfully the energy kept coming back and I was able to escape the void even if it's just for a few moments. Well after the energy visited a lot I started hearing voices too" A smile lit up Ansel's face as he spoke, remembering all her little rants."Wait.... Were you able to like hear what the voice was saying" E
Ansel released Mamock from the hug and sat back down on the bench, while Mamock stood there staring at him unbelievably. "It's me Mams it's me" Ansel reassured her and a few stray tears made way to her tree face again, She let the tears roll as she grabbed him by the hand and headed straight to the field. "Mamock what's wrong? Where are you dragging me to?" He asked as he stumbled on his toes. "I'll like you to use the voice of the body you're in and just come with me, I just need a more private place" Mamock said, still dragging him. Ansel took a deep breath and reverted his voice, making Elle's the dominant one. "Good we are here" Mamock said out of breath. They both stood in front of the swing bed in total silence for a while before Mamock spoke up "what happened Ansel? And most importantly why are you in Elle's body?" Ansel sighed and sa
Elle laid on her bed staring at the ceiling blankly, it's been a month since she last heard from Ansel and, a month since the healer found overwhelming memories and energies trapped inside her.She has completed all her physical trainings and she's sure she can take down an entire troop on her own now, but she's still undergoing her ability training, and to be honest it's way harder than her physical training."I need to get ready for my training" she muttered to herself without actually making an attempt to stand up and go get ready. She stared at the ceiling for a while before taking a deep breath, reluctantly standing up from the bed and entering the bathroom. Ever since she started her ability trainings, a sense of tiredness always overwhelms her and she can't go and vent to Ansel anymore. Why? Mamock banned her from doing so.She quickly washed up and dressed up in a free strawberry coloured dress tha
"Ansel?" Elle called out as she slowly opened her eyes, her eyes meeting a flowery ceiling instead of the rocky cover of the cove like she expected."Wait! Where on Earth am I?" She jolted up from the bed looking around frantically when a sharp pain hit her chest "ow" she muttered; rubbing her chest slowly till the pain slowly disappeared.Elle slowly adjusted herself on the bed, her eyes wandering round the room and slowly taking in the view of the place she is in. It looks a lot like the room in the realm just a bit smaller, with more flowers and plants. Her eyes wandered to the door at the other end of the room and the other that stood a few feet away she from her.She stood up from the bed heading to the door closer to her when she stepped on something, earning scratches from the poor cat and a light scream from her as she jumped back on the bed. She stood on the bed breathing heavily, her hand on her chest trying to regulate her breathing. When she f
