CHAPTER FOURTEEN

2024-10-29 19:42:56Liam's mum was finally getting discharged and he was more than ready to welcome her. The dining table was filled with food- both freshly cooked and the ones from yesterday cooking frenzy. It was perfect and he just couldn't wait to welcome her.
Brian had offered to pick her from the hospital while Liam stayed back at home to anticipate. He had tidied the house again for the millionth time. Her room was finally going to be getting company for the first time in years. He used new curtains and the beds also had new covers on them. The slippers he got while shopping with Steve were also laying next to her bed and he replaced her rug with the softest one the mart had to offer.
He wasn't going out but he was dressed up. He wore a black and white striped turtle neck top and new jeans. His hair was washed and combed down the way she always did when he was younger.
