Chapter 24

She is one of Warren's top investors and we met several occasions before, but it was too long ago. She wasn’t this old when I had met her.

I was probably high school back then when Warren gave me a tour of their company. that is why I didn't recognize her immediately. Sullivan Co. is a large profiting company. It was so successful that it would be absurd to sell it to someone but she did. For a week the media was filled with news about her company.

"Why did you sell Sullivan Co.?" I can't help but ask what all people had been asking her because she never answered the question.

"Because I have no family to give it to when I die,” she answered.

"What do you mean you have no family?"

"It happened long ago Bella but the wound it caused my heart never healed. You know I was once married," she chuckled and I was surprised at her revelation. Everyone thought she grew old single.

"I married Richard Sullivan and he was the real owner of the company.
