Debbie's worries come true. The next day at school, it turns out that the people at school did hear yesterday's broadcast. What can be said, yesterday's broadcast was on-air. Debbie, as usual, came earlier than most students. There will also be no school bell today. Thanks to that she can avoid coming face to face with other kids. Although there not a guarantee always stay in class made her safely hide from others, especially Eric. “Oh Debbie! You came to class so early in the morning?” Kia approached and joined us. “Last night I couldn't sleep..” Debbie's eyes look tired, her face looks messed up. She can't stop worrying about the declaration of love born of yesterday's misfortune. “Oh right! Yesterday was a coincidence. The three of us can request a song in a row.” The talk Debbie avoids most comes about radio broadcasts and send greeting messages. She just smiled bitterly and responded to what Kia said. "I hope she doesn't talk about that.” Debbie prayer in heart. "Well, yes
The classroom is still running. Debbie could not enjoy the rest of her last days in the second year with all her heart. kept her distance, busy avoiding Eric. Frightened by his response to an unplanned confession of love, she runs away, unsure if he heard the accident or not. Another effect that must be felt is that the people at school who know Debbie will raise the topic when they meet and see her face. For a while she became the chatterbox of schoolmates and had to deal with it with the mental as thick-faced celebrity keeping her cool. “Ouh Debbie! I was listening to that radio channel! Why don't you tell me you like Eric.” This kind of ignorant comment came from one of her classmates who was less sensitive. Debbie felt no need to serve and chose to remain silent. “Your love is real! Hm? Should I help you?” Debbie walked away without a word. In order to avoid teasing in class she went outside to look for interesting distractions. It's no better than staying in class in fact.
The whole school was crowded with people. The school parking lot is full of cars and motorcycles belonging to parents. All people are busy, be it teachers or students looking for their parents or even parents looking for their child's class. Today is the day of the report division which largely determines the fate of the second graders whether they go to class with a victory or mediocre credits. In other words, they will change classes. That means Debbie will be in different classes with Kia, Kinsey, Winy, Adele and other 11-7 occupant aka Class 1 social studies resident. “How about you, Debbie? Aren't your parents here yet?” Kia followed Debbie to the school gate. Without Debbie's reply, the answer was obvious. If her parents had arrived Debbie would not have been standing in front of the gate, she would have gone back inside. The girl was more and more anxiously waiting for her parents to come. Her name had been called by Mrs. Lena as her homeroom teacher earlier. Debbie can't t
Welcome to a new semester, a new class, a new teacher, a new friend, that's what Debbie is going to face today. Ah, not exactly new friends but some faces of old friends. Debbie's friends in 3rd grade are mostly her classmates from 1st grade. Once dispersed they are reunited, perhaps so is the case with other classes. But another problem at this time Debbie was confused about finding a peer. Almost everyone has a partner. At that moment someone whose voice had not been heard for a long time greeted her who was sitting alone. The girl is Sarah. “Hi Debbie, we turned out to be classmates again.” Debbie ignored Sarah's greeting. But she kept trying to get Debbie to talk. “Are you still angry with me? I'm sorry, but why don't you forgive me already?" Sarah kept talking but Debbie kept silent a thousand languages. still trying to find a way or solution. Speaking of solutions, there is one actually if Debbie is willing to. She can be as close to Sarah as she was in 1st grade. "Sarah,
“Debbie, are you coming?" Barry confirmed plans after school as a fellow member of marching extracurricular. “Uh, I don't know." her answer is doubtful. “You better come to practice, because there's a meeting for new recruit members later.” He meant just to remind her. These days Debbie often skip extracurricular activities. “I'll see you later." Replied Debbie indifferently. Since the 2nd grade Debbie's desire to quit extracurricular activities is getting stronger. Barry passed by after getting Debbie's half-hearted response. His business to convey messages from other members has been fulfilled. Then someone coming in class 12-5 walked closer to her. “Are you done? Let's go!” she said to Debbie who still looked busy at the table packing bags. "Hi Kinsey! Where's Emma?” she asked. “Not out yet. It's not uncommon for teachers to forget about time. We're going home together today, right?” "Debbie! Don't forget there is training!” Barry shouted from outside the classroom wind
Harry knew it was a sensitive thing but still brought it up on purpose. About the radio broadcast incident, it became sensitive for Debbie because the girl never intended to declare her love. Not at all, especially on air and on the radio. Purely by accident, if times can be repeated she wants to delete it, erase it. Just because Harry was also listening to the radio, does not mean he can use it as a weakness to attack Debbie like this. Debbie has been thinking a lot, since the radio broadcast Eric's attitude towards her perhaps unchanged. Then a week later, classmeeting passed in their respective busyness. And school holidays as well as the start of the new school year make them unable to meet. The last time she saw him, observed carefully when the report card was divided, his attitude was still as usual. As time elapsed, after that day she did not meet in coincidence with him, because their classes were separated far apart, more precisely separate floors. When school starts again
Today there is an extra lesson at school. All 3rd year student know this. Due to school regulations for Senior Grade 3 students, every child is required to take additional classes for five lesson, one of it obviously math. However, it turns out that there are still students who do not follow the regulation, not because they do not go to school or permission to go home because sick. No other reason than lazy, ditching class. Let's call one of them the boys from class 12-5. Almost all boys do not follow or skip tutoring today. Out of the 19 boys who remained stay in class after school, only 4-5 remained. That is a very worrying number. Surprisingly so is the same case with other classes. It's like they made a promise not to go to the extra class lesson. Suspicion was directed at the largest gang of the whole school, namely Alex and friends. Some boys in class 12-5 before the ditching incident in the congregation did look suspicious and gather in the back of the class. With this fanta
The literature lesson that Debbie used to like so much is now the thing that makes her sad, moping herself. Because it reminds the members of Group 3, especially Eric, the group leader in the cooking competition in their second year. No More Eric the chatty, grumpy, pretentious set that up. There are no more pleasant moments or their quarrels that always make a fuss around. No more jail Eric's laughter, smile nor his voice. Debbie missed all that togetherness. She misses him, and wants to meet and chat with him. So much miss him until everything that reminds of Eric makes Debbie languish. Unable to hold the feeling. But she couldn't do anything about it. Things have changed, and so has Eric. She is fully aware although it feels very painful to accept the fact that he for sure doesn't care about her anymore. Not one bit. Eric's attitude changed that what she sensed all this time, she could guess what the reason was. Probably because of that unexpected declaration of love on the radio.
