Chapter 25 - Not Just Friends

Women's hearts are weak, especially Debbie's. Simple kindness has made her heart flutter. Perhaps it is because that simplicity comes sincerely from the heart that has made her perhaps also fall in love? Debbie always pours out her restless heart on whom again if not Ivy. Together with Harry and the feelings she now feels for him, Debbie tells Ivy all of it. Maybe it's just a momentary feeling but it's been taking a toll on her lately.

“Didn't you decide to be friends?" Ivy asked, confused.

Debbie reluctantly concedes. "Yeah, I'm going to make friends, but―”

“Don't tell me you really have a special feeling?” Ivy's conclusion is that Debbie's behavior is suspicious.

“What a feeling! Don't cut me, listen until I finish.”

Ivy refrained from being rash in drawing conclusions this time. “Okay-okay... What were you trying to say?”

Debbie hesitated to speak. “You think I'm weird? Or is it overreacting?”

Ivy's eyebrows furrowed in remembrance. “You mean? Which one is weird like what?”
