Archer.

I knew Katrina left home even though she didn't admit it; the duffel bag was a dead giveaway.

As I held her in my arms, I felt Berk, my wolf, talking to me. It was convenient being able to speak to him without saying it out loud.

"Get her! I want her!" he demanded.

"We already got her, Berk. What more do you want?" I replied.

"We have to claim her! You stupid fool didn't mark her that night, did you?"

I bit my lower lip, resisting the urge to punch my wolf. "Are you crazy? Of course we shouldn't! Everyone in the pack will know she's mine."

"She's yours in the first place! Get her!" he went berserk.

"What's so special about her?" I hissed at Berk, unable to understand his obsession. "She's a hypocrite, a rich girl, and a spoiled brat!"

"I like her scent. It's addicting. She shouldn't be touched by any other man! I can feel many of us want to claim her, too," Berk said seriously. I heaved a deep sigh and shut off my mind towards him.

"We're here," I announced to Katrina, setting
