“Damn,” I muttered under my breath, wiping the sweat off my forehead as I walked down the dimly lit hallway.

The roar of the crowd grew louder with each step I took toward the boxing ring. It was my championship game, and everything was on the line. I could feel the adrenaline pulsing through my veins, the air thick with anticipation.

As I rounded the corner, I spotted my omega friends at the edge of the ring, their voices cutting through the noise.

They were shouting my name, waving wads of cash in the air, their grins wide and wild. I couldn’t help but smirk at their antics, but the moment of levity was short-lived.

The sharp blast of the referee’s whistle snapped me back to reality.

My opponent was a beast—bulky, relentless, and throwing punches like a machine. Every hit landed hard, my face stinging with each blow. I could taste the metallic tang of blood, and I knew my face was already bruised and swollen.
