Chapter 68: The Guardian of the Valley

Rorik and his pack emerged from the cave, clutching the glowing orb tightly in their jaws. As they made their way through the valley, they could feel the eyes of the Children of the Moon upon them, watching and waiting for their chance to strike.

But Rorik and his pack were not afraid. They knew that they had the power of the valley on their side, and that they were its chosen guardians.

For months, they kept watch over the valley, fending off attacks from the Children of the Moon and protecting the secret of the valley at all costs. They knew that they could not let the orb fall into the wrong hands - that the consequences would be dire.

And so they stood guard, vigilant and determined, their eyes ever watchful for signs of danger.

But as the seasons turned, Rorik began to feel the weight of his responsibilities pressing down upon him. He knew that he could not be the guardian of the valley forever - that one day, he would have to pass on the mantle to another.
