" Hmm." Vasquez's silent response forces her to pause and look at him. His eyes raise to her. Getting his entire attention with an amazed. Her dress is dancing with the wind, her eyes are sparkling with the fallen afternoon, and...

The sound of his heartbeat is disappearing into the distance between them. She looks ethereal. Like a strong magnet, she is attracting him.

His heart is swatting against them, complaining why not just hold her hand and touch her lips, why not just tell her that he is having a breathless situation? He wants to hold her and say... She became his world now.
