CHAPTER 7 - She's Not A Plagiarist

Amelia was taken aback, she was somewhat annoyed with herself. She didn't think that way, but for some reason, when the words came out of her mouth they sounded like she cared too much about him. Amelia didn't want to continue the conversation so she changed the subject.

“Mr. Reynold, why don't you tell me the purpose of your visit?”

Leo didn't pursue the matter and simply asked, “What do you want?”

Straightforward that was his style. Amelia smiled a smile that was tinged with sarcasm.

“Mr Reynold, are you negotiating with me? Do you want to settle this privately?”

Leo didn't deny it. “I didn't know about the plagiarism, but that's not an excuse. If you have any conditions, feel free to state them. I will try my best to fulfill them.”

This time Amelia looked at him with a new perspective. Putting aside their personal feelings, in the business world, Leo Reynold was indeed a worthy opponent. It was just a pity he killed Henry.
