CHAPTER 33 - Get Away From Me!

Just then, a beam of headlights suddenly lit up ahead.

Leo had just finished a social engagement and was preparing to go home when he saw Amelia standing by the side of the road.

Her clothes were torn, her hair a mess, and she was holding a black plastic bag, looking extremely disheveled.

James exclaimed in surprise, "Isn't that Madam Amelia?"

Leo frowned and had James pull over to the side of the road.

Amelia had noticed the headlights earlier, but she hadn't expected them to stop. She had originally wanted to ask for help, but upon seeing them, she immediately closed her mouth and turned her face away coldly.

James didn't notice her attitude and eagerly asked, "Madam Amelia, why are you here alone? Can we give you a ride?"

Amelia replied coldly, "No need."

James was taken aback, and a cold voice came from behind him.

"She said she doesn't need it. Why are you still asking? Let's go."

James felt a bit confused. "But didn't you ask me to ask her, young master? Why are you angry now?"
