CHAPTER 21 - Prove One's Innocence

The next day Amelia took her team to the client's house that had reported. She pulled out a fake ID and smiled, “Hello we are from the market supervision bureau, we would like to conduct another investigation concerning your complaint against Wilson's Group, is that okay?”

The client was a middle-aged couple who hesitantly nodded upon seeing her work ID. “Oh, sure.”

They let the group into their small two-bedroom apartment.

Amelia asked Mark to chat with them while she wandered around the room. The couple seemed to have an average income, judging from the furnishing and decoration in the room.

Next to the second bedroom was a small storage filled with clothes. Amelia walked over and was about to pick up a piece of clothing when the woman behind her stopped her.

“Hey don't touch that.” She hurried over and stood in front of Amelia.

“This is where I keep my clothes, it's messy in there and there is nothing worth seeing.”

Amelia raised an eyebrow and smiled, “Don't worry I'm just taking
