Chapter 822 New Year

Yvan headed back to his villa. He was tricking Maxus on purpose.

To his surprise, Maxus wasn't upset about this at all. He even ordered his men to send over some good stuff to Yvan.

Crossing his legs, Yvan sat on the couch. He had a cigarette between his fingers.

Darkly, he stared at the things placed before him. He narrowed his eyes. "Is this really Maxus' idea?"

Jerry said, "I think it's his assistant, Luther's idea."

Hearing that, Yvan looked up.

Meanwhile, Jerry continued, "Although Luther is Maxus' nephew, he's extremely capable and intelligent. That's why Maxus made an exception and hired Luther as his main assistant.

"Maxus acts impulsively. Usually, he would've gotten angry because of how we stood him up. Why would he even think about sending us gifts?"

"Luther definitely told him something that caused him to take such an action."

Yvan squinted. His impression of Luther deepened slightly. "Look into Luther's background."

"Okay."

"Just get rid of all these things."
