Chapter 699 A Call

Yuna took out her phone and glanced at the unknown number displayed on it. She hesitated for a moment. After all, her phone shouldn't be receiving calls from unfamiliar numbers.

As she returned to her room, the phone continued to ring. So, she sat on the couch and answered, "Hello, who's this?"

"It's me."

The familiar voice caused Yuna's eyes to widen. She lowered her voice and asked, "How did you get my number?"

"It wasn't difficult," Yvan calmly replied. "Why didn't you tell me when you were returning to Waleston and cut off all communication?"

"Did I not make myself clear enough?" Yuna leaned against the couch, her expression darkening.

Her tone became colder. "Are you calling me just to interrogate me?"

Yvan's end had a distinct sigh. "No, I just wanted to hear your voice."

Yuna fell silent.

"Take care of yourself. Look after Natalie and Nathaniel. Goodnight."

With that, Yvan hung up.

Yuna furrowed her brow as she looked at her phone, not knowing what to say or do.
