Hearing his words, Yuna remained impassive. "This is a celebratory dinner for my work. You don't have to help celebrate it with me. Since Mr. Yale isn't here, we can meet up another time."

With that, she was about to wheel around and leave, but Darren had no intention of letting her go. His hands remained on the wheelchair handles as he leaned in closer to her ear.

"I've heard some gossip about you and Jenkins, and that piqued my interest. Why don't you spare some time for me? We can sit down, have some drinks and talk about it."

Upon hearing that, Yuna held the wheels with his hands, trying to stop the wheelchair from moving. "Mr. Bowman, since when have you become interested in such gossip?"

"Of course, I'm not interested in those gossip. I'm just interested to know about things related to you."
