After fifteen years...

Emilie Albreicht took a deep calming breath as she awaits for the facilitator to reveal the last word that she needs to spell out. If she gets the right spelling, she will be this year's grand winner of Saint Therese's High Spelling Bee.

She has been the winner of this prestigious Spelling Bee ever since her freshmen year, and now that she's in her last year of high school, she wants to win the grand price again. She doesn't want to mess up with her winning streaks, so that's why there's no room for any mistakes.

Emilie lets out a small smile towards her parents, Mr. Emmett and Mrs. Lara Albreicht. Her two sisters are also at the event. Her family looked so excited and hopeful, while her sisters are giving her a "thumb's-up" sign.

Her parents' and her fraternal sisters's support means a lot to her. They are her number one supporter and she feels more confident.

Emilie and and her best friend Claire are currently waiting inside St. Therese's gymnasium. Their classmates are still at the Locker Rooms to change into PE uniforms. Both of them were the first ones to finish changing, so that's why they are now waiting at the gym. While they are waiting, Emilie decided to tell Claire what happened between her and Jayden yesterday..."Whaaat?! Jayden saw that "monthly stain" on your skirt? What did you do? And what did he do?" Claire started bombarding Emilie questions.Emilie rolled her eyes heavenward, then puts her attention back to her bestfriend."I'm not yet finished with my story and you're overreacting like this. And there's no way we're gonna have a romantic relationship!" she angrily muttered.Ever since Jayden became a popular figure at their school, she feels like he moved so far way from her, living her behind. They were almost inseparable back in their elementary days, and now that they are in high school, they looked like they are total strangers."But everything's totally different now, and there's nothing we can do about it. I'll just give the jacket back to Jayden and move on. Anyway, we're going to graduate soon and we'll be walking on different paths in College."
