Chapter Seventy-Five: A Second Chance in Life

The next morning.

Bella squinted her eyes as the rays of the morning sun clouded her vision. She yawned and sat on her bed as she tries to remember the previous events. The last goodbye with her real mother... The orphanage. Next, the adoption process.

After a few days, she was out flying on a plane bound to Palmridge County.

And now, she is in a different house and bedroom.

Everything that happened to her feels like a blur. And unfortunately, she can't keep on running away from the reality forever.

Her train of thoughts stops in a halt when she heard someone knocking at the door.

Bella groaned inwardly, as she is not yet ready to have a "talk" with her new sister.

But she doesn't have any choice. She practically drags her feet towards the door, and as soon as she opens the door, Miley greeted her with a big smile on her face.

"Good morning, my dear sister!"

Bella awkwardly froze while staring at Miley's beaming face. She also noticed that she is holding a tray laden with food.
