Chapter 15

“What is on this woman's mind why is she looking at Anthony and me."

 Eddie  aggressively thought.

Joshua sat in the back and was silent as he bowed his head on his table chair.

"I heard you know someone who is a rich friend.”

“ Maybe you can introduce me to him, Brother Anthony." rizza smiled at him.

Eddie and Anthony frowned at what rizza said.

"Who are you referring to? and what are you saying there that I know a rich friend?”

“maybe you just heard rizza wrong, I don't know what you're saying. “

Anthony’s direct answer to rizza.

Rizza took out her phone and showed Anthony and Eddie the pictures where the two of them were taken while they were riding in the rolls Royce sweptail car.

"Now, can you explain this picture?”

“Don’t tell me, you're not the one in this photo whose dress and face are the same.”

Rizza asked sarcastically

Anthony was not shaken by what he saw because he expected it to really happen,

 so he immediately thought of a way to reason with rizza.

"Yes, Eddie and I are in the picture but it doesn't mean that we know the owner of that car because we just helped that person and he offered us ride  that he would just take us here to school because we were only the same way ,that's why we rode because who wouldn't want to ride in that expensive car, it was our chance, am I right?"

"You're really useless, I thought you already know the owner of the car,”

“you're just a poor person so ,it's also impossible for Eddie and joshua to have a rich friend because you're beggars! " the pungent words of rizza coming out of her mouth.

Joshua heard that , so he immediately stood up and spoke.

"Can you be quiet ?! most I dislike of all is the woman who is so noisy.”

Rizza didn't reveal that she was surprised by what joshua said so she immediately answered it with a stern and rebuke.

" And finally you spoke too! what do you think of yourself now rich?”

“ you're more beggar than a rat joshua, so you don't have the right to tell me that! the one who should speak like that is none other than me! only me!”

 rizza laughed sarcastically .

"Do you also know that you are also just a louse that crawls and sucks a little blood and brain in my sight !? " Joshua’s retaliatory insult to rizza went to the bone

Rizza was embarrassed by what joshua said and almost all of their classmates laughed so rizza couldn't speak.

"What? can't you speak? why are you so silent? I guess you lost your courage?”

“ where is your arrogant attitude Rizza?" Joshua’s devilish smile at rizza.

Joshua came out and rizza was left speechless because she was embarrassed.

As joshua was walking in the park someone suddenly called his name.

"Joshua," a calm voice of Ysabelle called to joshua.

Joshua turned around and saw Ysabelle calling him so he approached her.

"Hi Ysabelle how are you ? do you have no class today?".

"We don't have a professor right now so I went out for a while to get some fresh air and I saw you walking. “Ysabelle answered him.

"Me too I'm here to get some fresh air,”

“we also don't have professor right now that's why I'm here , it's hot inside in my classroom ." Joshua’s excuses to Ysabelle.

" I heard that you’ve  got the highest grade in your final exam, congrats Joshua,"

 Ysabelle’s happily greetings to him.

"Ahm, I just guessed the answers and I didn't think that what I predicted was almost correct."

said Joshua.

"The important thing is that you can finish your course and it's only a few weeks to go before graduation and you can enter the stage to get your diploma."

Ysabelle happily said to Joshua.

" Thank you Ysabelle, you too , congrats in advance, Do you have anything else to do later ?"

 joshua replied.

"Actually we have a final gathering in our group for the final defence of the our thesis later so it's a little bit busy."

"A best luck and I know you can do it ,take care of yourself Ysabelle, " a gentle smile of Joshua.

"Thank you for your concern joshua, you too, take care of yourself," and she said goodbye to joshua and she went back to her class.

When Ysabelle didn't look back, joshua immediately deviated from the path and walked straight out of the campus.

While he was driving the car, he stopped for a moment at Fantasia mall

, this mall has almost no such customers who go and shop because the mall is old so it looks like a ghost mall.

When Joshua entered the mall, he immediately noticed that the designs of the establishments were not in order and not pleasant to look , apart from the old-fashioned look, there are no such shoppers who come here, so it's no wonder why it's called a ghost mall.

"The shops are out of order, and scattered so that the consumers are confused about where to go, aside from that there is no signage and the lights are almost broken.

"Maybe the owner really neglected it and who managed this mall is useless."

In Joshua’s mind, if he was the owner of this mall, he would probably bring this place back to its former glory because this mall is only close to universities and is still in the city Center, so this is a perfect place and the good business for him.

"Why not? If I buy this mall the customers' perspective will probably change because I will revitalize this mall like it used to be when it was new ".

He walked around the mall from the ground floor to the 3rd floor of the mall and it was really empty. On the 3rd floor almost no one goes there so there are only three stores open because most of them are closed.

On the 2nd floor there is a department store with only a few cashier counters open, on the 1st floor there are restaurants that there aren't too many eating customers and most of the restaurants are closed.

On the ground floor the supermarket is just there with a few customers who are loyal shoppers.

According to joshua, this mall lacks of management and has been neglected for a long time, so there are not many customer’s who enter the mall and there is no entertainment, so other customers just go to other malls.

Joshua thought of going to the mall's HR office and pretending to inquire but unbeknownst to him he was just observing and gathering other information as to why the mall was like this that the managements almost didn't care about the mall's status.

Joshua spoke to a female staff who looked old because of her weird dress.

"In his mind, maybe this woman didn't know the so -called new fashion style of clothing."

Joshua finds out that this mall has gone bankrupt, there are almost no investors and almost all the consignors are pulling out one by one, so the owner is just waiting for someone to buy it.

He was about to leave when suddenly there was a loud shout of anger inside the HR's office.

Slap! slap! a couple of consecutive strong and crisp slaps were inflicted by the female staff on the fat manager who was furious.

"You have no right to ask me that! you are just a low class employee here at this company! “

“Because you made me angry now undress and dance! "

the demonic voice of the fat manager.

"Sir, please have mercy, I just want to get our five-month salary because my father needs treatment at the hospital, please sir, don't do this to me, "

pity the poor female staff for her devilish behavior of her fat manager.

"If you want me to give you your salary undress and dance! just in case I change my mind!. "

his manager laughed maniacally.

"I can't do what you order sir, I need a salary, it's not your rude! "

 answer the female staff crying.

The fat manager was angry with the answer of the female staff so he kicked her in the stomach very hard and several times caused it to fall down and twisted in pain she felt.

"This is the thing with trash like you!" the fat manager spat and slapped the woman lying on the floor.

A female staff member immediately took the colleague lying on the floor to be taken out of the office before she was killed by their furious manager.

"I told you not to go ahead with your plan to ask our manager about our salary, then our demon-like manager beat you up."

The woman with her was crying while treating the wound inflicted by her staff friend.

"I know, because I have no choice but to ask him about our salary because my father needs to be treated at the hospital ,his condition is getting worse.”

 The female staff explained to her colleague.

Joshua heard that, so he approached the two female staff and handed them a white envelope.

"Hopefully that will help with your father's treatment,"

Joshua's gentle face smiling at the two female staff and  joshua leave  immediately.

The two female staff were surprised when joshua gave them the white envelope and when they opened it the large amount of money inside the envelope, so the two hugged with joy.

The two female staff couldn't thank him anymore because joshua left quickly and they didn't even get his full name.

The two female staff hope to see joshua again for the second time to formally thank him for helping them.

Joshua became even more interested in buying the mall when he found out about the poor management, so he called Emmie .

"Hello Emmie, do you know the details and status of fantasia mall? "

Joshua asked to her.

'Yes, young master, William Johnson is the owner of that mall and its manage by his  nephew, the current manager of that mall”

Emmie answered him accurately.

"That's good, " Joshua smile in his mind that this is a good idea for his first project as the child of Vanlimz family.

"So, do  you have plan to buy that mall young master?"

" Maybe ,yes ,why not," Joshua answered her with a sly smile.

"Is that so, young master I will inform you right away the details and status of that mall after a few minutes because we are still  here in the  meeting right now,”

“That mall has a good ideal place because it is close to the university and it is located  in the city proper."

After  a few minutes.

There's a popped up notification message from Joshua's phone and he immediately opened it.

1.5 billion dollars was deposited to your bank account.

Joshua was happy to see the huge amount of number appeared in his bank account.

Suddenly his phone rang and it was Emmie calling him.

"Young master , your dad already transferred a 1.5 billion dollars to your bank account “

“and here's the  full details and the status of fantasia mall , that mall is went to bankrupt,”

“so that the owner is just waiting for someone to buy his mall  with the total price of 700 million dollars .”

“But according to the owner the price will be negotiated and it will be discussed properly ." Emmie told him the details accurately

"That's good Emmie , thank you for your hard work." Joshua said

"You're always welcome young master."

Joshua ordered Emmie to call William  Johnson to inform that there is someone interested to his mall and set at meeting tomorrow morning .

Emmie immediately called William Johnson,

The owner of fantasia mall to inform him that his master would buy the whole property of the mall and also tomorrow his master will personally  go to the HR office of the mall.

William called his nephew the  current manager of the fantasia mall,  he inform him to get ready for tomorrow because they have big client to go there tomorrow morning In the office itself .

The fat lazy manager ordered his staff to get ready because they have a big clients to visit here tomorrow morning and the owner were will also come .

The staffs are happy because they can talk directly to the owner of the mall to ask about their 5 months salary without being given. But were replaced by fear and frustration when their aggressive manager threatened them.

"When you ask and complain to the owner about your salary, I will punish all of you and I will kill all your family members ,did you understand? " the fat manager threatened them and laughed demonically.

The staffs were afraid that their family might be affected , so they choose to remain silent because they know that it would be easy for their manager to kill their family.

Joshua groomed himself and wearing only a simple clothes .

He is excited today because he will finally have his own mall which is here in duclin city.

Joshua just took a taxi because he didn't want to use his car today and around 10am in morning he arrived at the fantasia mall.

Other staff are in outside to wait for the so-called bigtime client but they don't know that joshua is the one that they waiting for.

They ignored joshua because they know that he was just a shopper of this mall so, Joshua went straight to the HR office.

Joshua went to bathroom first to fix his clothes first.

Bang! A very loud sound that fat managers kick slammed the bathroom door.

Joshua was surprised and looked at the fat manager who was still smoking a cigarette.

"Who are you ! And what are doing here! Are you a thief?!”

 Said the arrogant manager

Joshua ignored him that's why the fat manager was furious and said,

" What have you right to ignore me? Are you deaf? Or you didn't know me?”

“ I'm the manager of this mall and as the same time I'm one of a relatives of the owner of this mall!"

Joshua looked at him wickedly and ignored him .

The fat manager was furious and his two thick eyebrows met with anger at Joshua.

"Hey, You! I will kill you right now and your whole family !”

“ What the courage you have to ignored me! Now you will face the consequences!”

 Said the furious fat manager

"Why not? Go ahead ? I don't care !”

“ If you value your life don't provoke me or else you will be dead! Fatty piggy!"

Joshua insults to the fat manager went to the bone.

Then Joshua leave the bathroom immediately and the fat manager was angry and shouted inside the bathroom.
