The sound of shattering objects erupted from Aurora's room. Maria was startled and immediately woke up Hendrik, who was in a deep sleep. Equally surprised, Hendrik leaped off the bed and rushed toward Aurora's room. Hysterical screams and heartbreaking sobs could be heard as Maria followed Hendrik, who arrived first in Aurora's room.
"Oh God, Aurora!" Maria exclaimed, her hand covering her mouth as she saw Aurora sitting in the corner of the bed, clutching her knees, tears streaming down her face.
