Chapter 22: Painful Punishment

"What is the matter?" Raphael asked gently with concern. He then frowned, "You are scared now? Do you regret messing with me?"

Jon did not bother replying to his taunts, "Meteor Rain!"

This time, he had better control over the assault and could aim the fireballs directly at Raphael.

Raphael chuckled as green balls of fire appeared over him.

"Do you really think this pitiful attack would inflict damage on me?" Raphael mocked. "Tomb Tower!"

A stone wall once again rose from the ground. Now, however, it surrounded Raphael and protected him from the fireballs that orbited around him.

By the time the fireballs vanished and Raphael lowered the stone barrier, Jon's wounds had completely healed.

Jon immediately launched another attack, "Asteroid Blaze!"

"When will you stop these pitiful attacks?" Raphael looked disgusted as he emanated red energy from his body and dissipated the fireballs.

As he walked closer to Jon, he shot shards of energy at his opponent.
