Kirou smiled as he heard everyone shout. This was the reaction that he was both expecting and looking forward to the most. Kirou waited for a few moments, giving everyone else the time they needed to calm down and collect themselves.
Navi was the one who spoke up, "Before we answer that question, would you mind telling us your reason, Kirou?" Her words reflected the current thoughts of everyone in the room, whether they wanted to admit it or not.
Kirou leaned back in his chair, interlocking his ten fingers before his face, hiding the mischievous smile that he was making. No one could see it, but the group could instinctively feel that he was making such a face as he spoke up, "I don't have a problem sharing my reasons with you guys since I'm asking such an unreasonable request."
His words sounded like they were apologetic on the surface but Navi, Guardian Knight, and the female elf thief could hear the mirth laced within
It's been three days since Kirou had concluded his deal with the Sanming Sect Master, Guardian Knight. During this period of time, while the Sanming Sect was busy making deals with the other major guilds and sects for their objectives, Kirou wasn't wasting his time either. Before the meeting between the two had even started, Kirou had already run through the majority of the scrap.... (cough cough) spare equipment in his inventory and storage, as well as a myriad of materials that he's found along the way.Although he hadn't gone all out with his crafting, Kirou had finished the remainder of his spare materials at the end of the first day. Since then, Kirou has been going around the various forests on the northwestern side of the Southern Continent, both hunting for new materials from the various monster and plant life and leveling up his three pets.So far, each of his pets has managed to reach level 18, while Kirou himself was a few kills a
It's was twenty minutes later that Shiroa brought Kirou to the area where he would be working. Just a few kilometers away from SC Pier City, in some unnamed forest, a large group of players was currently hunting every monster in sight, as soon as they respawned. Kirou raised an eyebrow at this but said nothing as the duo walked by all of these players.The duo's entrance did attract the attention of the group, but besides taking a single glance at the duo, the group no longer paid them any attention as they took down the monsters before them. After walking for another five or so minutes, the duo finally arrived at an open clearing where a large number of monster corpses were currently piled up. Along with this, on one side of the clearing, there was a group of players currently working hard to harvest materials from the corpses around them. Sadly, this group was moving too slow. By the time they finished working with one corpse, two more had already disappeared
Shiroa wanted to say something but she didn't know how to answer. If she admitted it, then that was as good as saying that the Sanming Sect didn't honor their deals with others and that would be the end of the cooperation between Kirou and her sect. Conversely, if she denied it, that was the same as turning her back on Blade Warlord, directly before his men. This situation left her between a rock and a hard place. Fortunately for her, Kirou turned away from her and now had the smiling Blade Warlord in his sights.Seeing the smug smile on his face made Kirou's hands itchy. Kirou genuinely felt the urge to wipe that smug look off of Blade Warlord's face but kept his urge in check as he spoke, "You know what, I just figured out the best way to decide whether or not I join the Sanming Sect."These words caused everyone, Shiroa included, to lock their eyes on Kirou. Feeling a bit full of himself, Blade Warlord queried in a cheery tone, "And what
Kirou was currently a few kilometers away from the forest clearing that he had just fought in. He was on his way back to his secret base with a smile on his face. While the actions of Blade Warlord had indeed soured his mood earlier, prompting him to take action and teach the man a lesson, the blueprints he received from Shiroa more than made up for it. This was especially so when he remembered looking at certain blueprints that were in the mix.Blueprint: SubmersiblePlayer Requirements: <Master Shipwright> (Rank 6+) or Crafting Master (Rank 5+), Level 30Material Requirement: ???Description: This is a long-forgotten blueprint design from a distant age for building a vessel capable of traveling underwater for an extended period of time. The materials for this vessel must be crafted by a <Master Blacksmith> and can only be assembled by a <Master Shipwright>.Blueprint: Seaview YachtPlayer Requi
It's been a day since Kirou started hunting monsters, starting with those brown bears. Right now, he was locked in combat with a bunch of giants wasps.Monster: Jade Forest Silverwing WaspMonster Level: 23Health: 27,000/27,000Attack: 140Defense: 70Skills: Poisonous Stinger, Penetrating Drill, Bug Buzz, Reinforcement CallThe creature itself wasn't anything special, just a half meter tall wasp that was slightly faster than average for a monster at its level. That being said, it shouldn't be underestimated as this monster has had Kirou busy for over twenty minutes now. The reason for this is due to the final skill that the Silverwing wasp possesses, <Reinforcement Call>.Roughly half an hour earlier, Kirou had found three of these wasps on his search for prey. Looking at their numbers and noticing that he was just a few kills away from hitting level 20, Kirou decided to make th
Having collected the scrap... (cough cough) new gear that dropped from the destroyed wasp corpses and harvested the materials from the rest, Kirou was now on his way to SC Pier City. He needed to make his way back to Elderwood Village quickly to talk to Bladesmith and he could stop by the auction house on his way to sell a few of the gear he just obtained. During this brief trip, Kirou took a look at his current stats.{Name: Kirou}{Race: Werewolf(Lycan/Human)}{Class: Weapon Master}{Subclass: Crafting Master}{Traits: Lycan Transformation(Minor), Keen Senses(Minor), Adaptability(Minor), Information Analysis (Minor), Man-at-Arms(Class), Forge Your Own Path(Class), Fast Hands(Class), <Chimera Creation>(Incomplete)}{Weapons: Gunblade Tonfas, Wolf Claws, Enchanted Steel Chain, Threaded Wires, Metal Spike Boots, Fighter Gloves}{Armor: Basic Leather Armor, Shadow Cloak, Mysterious Bead(???)}{Level: 20}

It was the strongest boss monster that he's seen to date. Scratch that, it was the strongest wild boss that he's met. Kirou remembered that he wasn't even able to see anything on Archmage Anderson's stats. He wasn't sure if this was due to the level difference between them at the time or not. With that in mind, Kirou corrected his statement.After getting an eyeful for the boss's stats, Kirou looked away from it. The life and death of this boss had nothing to do with him, after all. He was only present to skin the beast after it died. Kirou then turned towards the ladies before him as he spoke, "It seems that we'll be here for a while, w
With the trio's attention firmly placed on him, Kirou spoke up, "My method isn't anything special, but I don't think anyone will be able to pull it off without a pet similar to Asura here." As Kirou said this, he ran his hand through Asura's fur, causing the badger mole cub to nuzzle its head on Kirou.The girls looked at the affectionate action between Kirou and Asura and couldn't help inwardly squealing at the scene. Reya was the one who got over it first as she spoke up, "What do you mean by needing a similar pet to Asura? Are you talking about its race specifically or something else, Mr. Wolf?"Kirou directed Asura to a few mineral resource points before continuing, "While I'm sure you could probably find other badger moles with the skill initially, I don't think you'll be lucky enough to get the skill needed on the first try from them since monsters tend to lose a few skills when they are tamed. Instead, I'm talking about creatures attu
