Jean laid her head on Tyler's arm, looking touched.

She felt taken care of because Tyler could understand what she didn't even have to say.

After Tyler parked the car in the garage, Jean got out of the car first.

Dorian eagerly stepped out of the house, wearing a big smile as he warmly greeted, "Mom."

Jean hurried over and grabbed Dorian's hand.

Later, Jean realized that Coleen wasn't in the house.

Normally, Coleen would be there to greet them immediately.

As dinner time approached, Coleen was still missing.

Jean couldn't help but ask, "Grandma, where's Mom?"

Pausing with a fork in hand, Judy replied, "She went out to handle something. Jean, how's the food today?"

Judy changed the topic of the conversation.

Taking the hint, Jean decided not to ask for further details.

It wasn't until the early morning hours that Coleen finally returned.

Jean was lying next to Tyler. The distant sound of a car approaching downstairs caught her attention.
