Chapter 684 No Contact

Seeing how eager Jean and Tyler were to leave, Cassie didn't try to keep them. As such, she walked them to the exit.

"Take care on your way home, Ms. Michaels, Mr. Larson," she said.

Nodding, Jean left with Tyler's hand in hers.

On the way home in the car, Jean sat in the passenger seat next to Tyler and noticed the hint of exhaustion in his eyes. It made her feel a little guilty.

"I shouldn't have insisted on going to the fashion show. The music inside was too loud, wasn't it? Are you feeling okay?"

While speaking, Jean gently stroked Tyler's forehead with her hand. Her movements were tender, as if she was afraid of causing him pain.

Tyler held Jean's hand and said in a low voice, "I'm used to that kind of environment. You don't need to worry so much about me. I just didn't get enough sleep last night."

As he spoke, Tyler tightened his grip on Jean's hand. He continued, "I'm going on a trip to Henkel next month. Why don't you come with me?"
