Chapter 524 A Favor to Ask of Him

Yvette looked at Jean in confusion.

"What is it?"

Smiling lightly, Jean said, "Something about the plot."

Joy flashed through Yvette's eyes. "Really?"

Jean nodded.

And so, for the rest of the day, Yvette felt incredibly distressed as she drew.

The next day, as she made the storyboard and colored in the scenes, her eyes were nearly swollen from all her tears.

Jean got off work on time. She went to the kindergarten to pick Dorian up.

When she saw him, she felt an ache in her heart as she said, "I'll send you to your dad, Dorian."

Dorian was bewildered. "Why? Do you not like me anymore, Mom?"

Jean shook her head. "No. It's because Dad's sickness is getting serious."

She knew that this was a cruel thing to tell someone as young as Dorian.

But there was no way around it. It was indeed a cruel reality.

Dorian's eyes reddened once he heard her words.
