Chapter 325 Embarrassed to Ask

Esme was taken away by the officers with a dark expression on her face.

Even so, she had no plans on giving up. She refused to give up.

Jean was pushed into a hospital ward by the medical staff.

Coleen sat by her side and comforted her, saying, "When a woman's pregnant, it's not possible for everything to go smooth sailing. There'll definitely be some problems that come along. Some are bigger than others."

She continued, "To be honest with you, Tyler isn't my first child. Before him, I had another daughter. But she had an unfortunate fate and passed away at a very young age.

"Jean, I hope you can remain positive even after what happened. Dorian's still young. You still have him, don't you?"

Jean nodded. She looked at Coleen, who was trying her best to comfort her. Coleen had tears in her eyes as well, and it was clear that she felt horrible too.

Reaching out, Jean held Coleen's hand.

"Mom, let the past stay in the past, alright? Don't be too sad," she said softly.
