Chapter 287 Miscarriage

Mrs. Vale sat beside Jean. She kept scooping up more food as though to prove that nothing was wrong with the food she cooked.

Jean watched her emotionlessly before withdrawing her gaze. "I really don't have an appetite. I'll go to my room."
