Dorian's red-rimmed eyes made it hard for Jean to concentrate. She said gently, "Don't cry, sweetie. If you cry, I'll start crying."

The boy quickly nodded, wiping away his tears.

"I understand now, Aunt Jean. You don't wanna marry Dad cause you don't like him, right? That's why you can't be my mom, right?"
