Dorian had always been a sensible and obedient child. So, Tyler was never worried about him.

The child bit his bottom lip forcefully, a conflicted look now present on his face.

Jean had always been a patient woman. She continued with a smile, "Why don't you take the meds first? If your condition doesn't improve by tomorrow, I'll take you to the hospital. How about that?"

Dorian nodded. His voice was rather weak when he spoke.

"If you take me to the hospital, will you stay by my side the whole time?"

Jean nodded seriously. "Of course."

Dorian pursed his lips for a moment before asking, "If I take the meds, will you stay here with me too?"

The sight of the little boy looking so wary and cautious made Jean's eyes redden slightly.

"Of course."

After hearing Jean's determined answer, Dorian took the spoon from Albert and drank the medicine in one go.

Once he was done, he added in an unsure tone, "Aunt Jean, you can't lie to me, okay? Otherwise, I won't like you anymore."
