Chapter 122 Jean Is Hospitalized

The dinner came to an end.

Jean was not forced to drink, so she remained very sober throughout the evening.

After a busy day, she was both physically and mentally exhausted. She said goodbye to the other actors and drove back to her place alone.

She drove her car into the underground parking lot of the residential complex, turned off the engine, and got out of the car.

However, she had taken only a few steps when someone grabbed her hair from behind.

The person behind her had suddenly pulled, causing Jean to stagger back a few steps. She fell to the ground, and when she turned to look at who it was, she was momentarily stunned.

Barnabas glared at Jean with a fierce expression on his face, muttering curses under his breath.

"I let you escape abroad and live in hiding for a few years, yet now you have the audacity to return to the country?"

Jean frowned, about to resist. But a slap came down on her the next second.

Barnabas's slap was merciless, aimed straight for Jean's face.
