Chapter 655

The only place with light was Chad's Hall of Herbs. As Chad walked onto Temple Road, the car following him continued to tail him. Without turning around, Chad headed toward the Hall of Herbs.

When Chad reached the entrance, the car stopped in front of the Hall of Herbs. Samuel stepped out alone, and the driver drove off once he was out.

Chad looked at him. "Why are you here?"

With a somber expression, Samuel followed Chad into the Hall of Herbs. Seeing Chad with a guest, Willow wanted to make tea, but Chad waved her away.

Samuel sat down and immediately noticed the Yggdrasil seed by the rock garden in the backyard. "I came to tell you something. Your third uncle has also fallen in battle."

Chad's body stiffened as he remembered Esther, his aunt, mentioning that his third uncle had gone to find Chad's parents after arriving in Bloomington.
