Chad looked at the cut stone and asked, "How much is yours worth?"

Grace smiled arrogantly. "Stop stalling. I won't let you get away with it. Now it's your turn to reveal your stone. I want to see how you'll manage without a cutting machine!"

Chad responded, "The item inside is whole. I don't want the machine to cut it in half."

His words caused a burst of laughter.

"You really don't know anything about stones, do you? I get it now. You want to polish it out, right?" Grace asked. Instead of cutting, polishing a stone meant gradually revealing the jade or gemstone within its natural lines.

"Hey, you! Help him polish this stone so he can give up!" Grace felt confident of her victory and looked forward to seeing Chad fail.

A cutting machine worker took the stone from Chad and began polishing it. After a few strokes, the worker shouted, "It's turning red!"

Everyone was stunned, and Grace was incredulous. The worker continued enlarging the window, revealing more fire-red color inside
