Chapter 5

"Get out of my way, you loser!"

John harshly pushed Chad away and barged in like a thug.

Chad knew they despised him for a long time. They must be up to no good to show up at the villa right after he and Matilda got divorced!

In the hall, Celine sat on the couch and said straightforwardly, "I heard you and Matilda are separated. We're taking this villa back. Get out of here before dawn!"

Chad was fuming. He did not expect the Sachs to make him lose everything.

John then smirked at Chad and reached out his hand, saying coldly, "Dear brother-in-law, this is my last time calling you that. Return the money now!"

Chad was still consumed by his anger and he was confused. "Money? What money?"

John's face changed and he pushed Chad.

"Are you f*cking kidding me? My sister gave you 1.4 million dollars! Return the money now or else I'll break your leg!"

Chad was infuriated and suppressed his anger. He said calmly, "Don't touch me. I didn't take the money. If you want the money so bad, you can ask Matilda for it!"

"You didn't take it?" John did not believe Chad and snarled, "Do you think I'm stupid? We're talking about 1.4 million dollars. How could you resist it?"

Celine joined in and said, "Give us the money now, or else don't blame us for what we're gonna do to you. You and Matilda were once husband and wife. I too want this to end on a good note. But, if you don't return the money, things will turn ugly!"

Chad glared at Celine and John coldly and gritted his teeth as he said, "I said I didn't take it. This is my last warning. Don't mess with me!"

Splash!

An outburst of rage caused John to smash a glass on the ground. He yelled, "I'm here to mess with you. What are you going to do to me? You wanna hit me?

"I suggest you to do as we say. Give us the money!"

Chad was on the verge of exploding when he saw John acting arrogantly.

Following the divorce, the assets that Chad rightfully deserved to get were more than just 1.4 million dollars and the villa.

Chad did not want to pursue the matter and signed the divorce agreement.

Even if he took the money and the villa, Chad was still at a loss!

However, Celine and John had the cheeks to take back everything. It was ridiculous of them!

Celine could no longer endure Chad's stubbornness and growled, "You're asking for trouble! Give us the money, now!

"It's been three years since the two of you have gotten married and you've never earned a penny. Now that you two are getting a divorce and you're getting 1.4 million dollars? What the h*ll are you thinking?

"If it were up to me, you should compensate Matilda with a huge sum and lose everything!

"You shameless piece of sh*t. How dare you take the money!"

Celine words exhausted even the last bit of patience Chad had for the Sachs.

He looked at Celine and John with a cold gaze and said coldly, "Matilda intended to give me the money and the villa. Even if I were to return the money, I'd return it to her. Not the two of you!

Go ahead and call Matilda. If she agrees for the money to be given to the both of you, I will!"

Immediately, Celine and John panicked.

They knew that if Matilda were to find out about it, they would not get either the money or the villa.

"F*ck you! How dare you mention my sister! You're not worthy!"

John then pushed Chad outside the villa and flung his luggage into the yard.

Things in the luggage poured out onto the ground.

Celine shouted angrily, "I'll kill you if you don't give us the money!"

"That's right. Your life or the money. Choose one!" said John as he grabbed Chad by the collar of his shirt and laughed wickedly.

Calmly, Chad looked down at his shirt and said coldly, "Let me go. Or else, I'll cripple you!"
