Getting ice cream with the CEO

Xavier got two cups of ice cream and walked back into his car, he handed one to Aria which she accepted with a smile. They had just left the office for the day and decided to pull up at an ice cream place and discuss personal issues, after which he would take her home.

“I forgot to ask, you love Vanilla flavor, right?” he asked with one wrinkled eyebrow.

She chuckled and then opened the ice cream cover, she took the spoon and scooped up ice cream into her mouth, then moaned in satisfaction.

“I will take that as a yes,” Xavier uttered and they both smiled. He opened his own and began to scoop it in large quantities. “Ah! Brain freeze!” he groaned and Aria burst into laughter.

That reminded him of the times he didn’t remember what a brain freeze was and Aria would make him eat chilled ice cream just to watch him groan. They stared at each other and smiled while sharing the same memories. None of them had to say it out loud but they both remembered.
