“I’m heading to my room.” I tell Atlas who is now also standing.

“I’ll walk you and make sure you get there in one piece and not get sidetracked by any one of these players who can’t keep their eyes off you.”

“For real, Atlas? I’m more than capable of getting to my room on my own.”

“Actually, I’m heading to bed too. How about I walk her up? We’re on the same floor. You’re on the floor beneath us.” Cody butts in. Thank God for that because my brother is playing the overbearing big brother card too heavily right now.

“Suppose so.” Atlas shrugs his shoulders. We bid out goodnights to the others around the table.

“I’ll walk with you guys too.” Calli says and Nolan follows after him. I swear those two should have been born twins. Where one is the other is right by him. It’s so cute and I sure hope that they never get separated if one or the other gets drafted.
