My heart is in my mouth as I watch Alex get pushed against the barrier, he retaliates and pushes the offending player off him and starts to take his gloves off as does the other player. I raise my hand to my mouth; no please don’t do this I am thinking. He has managed to keep his cool on the ice for quite some time now and the last thing Alex needs right now is a scuff on the ice. I let out a sigh of relief as I see Hawk skating towards him and grabbing Alex by the shoulder. They look as if they are having words, Alex nods and puts his gloves back on, only after he’s shown the other guy the bird. Phew, what a relief.
