ABUJA, NIGERIA.

The morning rays rose above the horizon. Sunlight streamed her bedroom through the gaps of the curtain lightening up the room with warm glow. She rolled over and gazed out the window overlooking the shines over the other buildings. The new rays brought a new day is the day she will get her husband back. Her husband was supposed to be hers and hers alone and if she is going to share it with another woman, there is just something that woman needs to face before she brushes her shoulder. He is her first and only love, no one can come between them even though they are going through a rough patch.

She sighed and got down from the bed to clean herself and her baby though it looks like she hasn't woken up yet. Getting down, she strolled to the bathroom and took bath then changed into one of her famous unique sewn gowns. Since she is a tailor, she tries every single style that comes to her head and it will make a good combination. The rust coloured dress has butterfly sleeves and middy collar and that is a combination she's never seen. Whether in social media or in any social events, she's never seen anyone look so casually beautiful in that combination. She loves the feeling of being different from everyone because of her unique way of sewing.

After she changed into the clothes, she woke her baby and gave her a quick bath. She changed her cloth into rust coloured elephant onesie making her grin. They always share the same colour whether it is cobalt blue or azure blue, she is always wearing same thing as her daughter. When they are going out for some grand event and she wants to take her baby with her, she makes sure she sew her clothes with the remains of her yard. But when she don't want her to wear some uncomfortable yard, she buys ready made clothes for her, that is why she is always spotted in baby's shop.

"Hey you, dear cousin!" She heard her cousin's voice hollering into the phone as soon as she picked it.

"Hmm, I don't trust this your dear. What is it?" She asked straight forward sitting down on her ruby cushion after turning on her speaker and putting Anaan's baby chair in the middle of the room so she could stroll and move around with the beat. She feels like playing rock music and knows her daughter will help her sway to the music.

"I'm coming later! I have some hot news for you and some good advice." She bursted into the phone as enthusiastic as she always is.

"You don't have to fill up my ears with your odious and contemptible voice. You always come without telling me and now you just have to call me, stupid." Amani rolled her eyes then removed another set of wine coloured lace that she is yet to finish and they will be there to collect it in a day.

"Whatever." And she hung up only making Amani to shook her head from side to side in annoyance.

She just wants to start working so she could stop thinking about her husband and his second wife. She is trying everything in her power to not let that ruin her mood and so far, she could successfully say she is not thinking about that and that is a relieve, an enormous one at that. Not feeling like rocking her day again, she played 'Dead by Madison Beer' and started lulling her head from side to side whilst matching her sewing machine and looking at her baby once in a while. She busied herself with playing round with stacks of threads she has in the room. Normally, she would stop her but she don't even have the energy to move a muscle in her body so she didn't bother and continue sewing absentminded.

"Hola!" Amani sighed hearing Fayha's voice as she walked into her living room after she opened the door for her.

"How are you?" She asked, sitting back down on her ruby coloured suede sofa to continue breastfeeding her baby.

"I'm good and fine and extra hyper." Fayha's grin was so wide as she sat down on the furry sangria carpet sitting quietly on the floor of her gigantic living room.

Fayha is her twenty one year old cousin, the same age as her. They grew up together and have being friends since they can't remember. Having a small family makes them the only mates except for the other males in the family who were busy in their boarding school to have time to play dolls with them. Fayha's mother is her father's younger sister and she is the only female in their family too just like Amani. They only have brothers and not sisters which they find annoying and unjust but also like the attention they get from both their parents and brothers.

Fayha just finished her college and is now a successful engineer having followed her elder brother's footsteps. She got job in her brother's company and from the looks of it, she is already enjoying her work and the salary she is getting making Amani eager to hear how working as an engineer is. That was her dream ever since she was little and Amani was always there to support her when people think it is a male job and not female's. It doesn't matter what they think.

There is nothing as them! It is always you and yourself, no one else. Don't try pleasing 'them' as they don't deserve to see the side meant only for you. If you try pleasing 'them' you won't ever reach where you want to be. You are alone in this battle of life so don't try downgrading yourself for someone who won't think twice before leaving you in the battleground to fend to yourself. It will always be you!

She has on a black pleat skirt with innovative pleat design fabric and furled hem Amani sew for her some days back. She match it up with tawny coloured shirt featuring a bishop sleeves and Puritan collar then a matching tawny veil is wrapped securely in muffler around her head which she knew will soon come off. Her hand has a black satchel bag which she use the crossbody strap safely around her shoulder. She looks smart and beautiful like she always does.

Fayha is more in the pear shape unlike Amani's hourglass figure which only flared when she gave birth to Anaan. Fayha has a dark skin tone nearing mocha unlike Amani's warm olive skin tone, golden tan. She has a sharp nose just like Amani but it's sharper than Amani's because Amani's nose makes her look cute as it is small. While they look alike, their eyes is the big difference. Fayha's eyes are slit while Amani's are huge and doe like but their lips are all pink and plump with a deep heart curve on their upper lips.

Amani is more in cute and beautiful while Fayha is beautiful and pretty even with her dark skin. Amani's eyes makes her look innocent but Fayha's makes her look fierce and daring so no one ever crossed their paths in highschool and anywhere. Amani is also isn't quite and when her fierce side appears, the earth turns upsidedown.

"I heard MM is getting married to Zmby." Fayha said as they make macaroni in the kitchen.

"He is getting married to Zmby?" Amani would want nothing more than to stop talking about her husband's second wife but it perked her interest hearing her husband going to marry the President's daughter.

She thought it was just an ordinary girl he found and wanted her to fill in the void she made but no, he went ahead and brought a real woman. That woman is two years older than her and she is nowhere ordinary. She is extraordinary and half the population of Nigeria look up to her so how on earth does he want her to be rivals with someone like her?! He really is getting married to Fatima Zara Muhammad Buhari Yakasai?! She really was left in the dark for a long time and she needs to talk to her husband.

"You didn't know?! Her sisters have been posting about it since I can't remember and they are not even in Nigeria. They are currently in China shopping." Fayha scrunch up her face at the mention of her sisters. She hates all the Yakasai family when she heard their sister marrying her brother in-law though it's mostly her cousin's fault.

"Wow!" She badly wants to feel the rage building up, the heartbreak, the fury but none of them was pushing it's way forth. She is just feeling nothing except the burning love she has abandoned for her husband that is resonating and fluttering her chest.

She has abdicated her love and her husband for no reason and now that another woman is about to take her place, just then did she came back to her senses. Now, she knows where to start or so she thought. She's made a terrible mistake right from the beginning and she don't even know where to start from. She doesn't deserve his forgiveness and love. The love he had or has for her is pure and she knows that because she equally loves him just like he does.

He loves passionately and she is one to say that to anyone and that is what is making her so jealous of having to share him with another woman. Another woman will have the same love she had and ceded so it didn't sit well with her at all. She needs to do something in the twenty days left for her.

"Yeah, wow! What are you going to do?" Fayha asked as though she is afraid of hearing her answer because the question was reluctant and almost forced out from her mouth.

"I don't know, honestly." She shook her head and push a morsel of food to her mouth not feeling her appetite anymore.

"You are not thinking about stopping the marriage, are you?" Fayha stopped her fork from moving around her China plate.

"What?! No!" She rolled her eyes at the absorbed thought her cousin brought. The thought of stopping the marriage actually never crossed her mind since she is the one at fault there. She won't stop him from doing what his heart desires.

"Good, let's stroll." Fayha likes strolling around Amani's estate because she said their estate is very calming and peaceful.

Amani agreed and removed Anaan's baby stroller and set it open outside their house then placed her baby inside. Anaan kept clapping around because it looks like she also like going out and seeing the clouds moving with the sun shining brightly on their heads.

"I have a perfect idea of what you should do." Fayha suggested after a while as they both were thinking about what to do and lost all in their thoughts.

"What is that?" Though she knows Fayha is crazy, she knew her ideas are mind blowing so she is ready to listen ad do whatever she wants her to do.

"We need to go and rock that wedding! But first, you should bring your husband back to your side and burn those flames of love you poured water on." Fayha grinned widely as though she has brought the cure to cancer.

"I'm not going to that wedding. It'd be so classless from my side you know." Amani was quick to admonish the first idea but she is ready to do the last one.

"Yeah, you're kind of right. But you don't want to know what I have in my head for you. Well, just burn those flames first and we'll see from there." Fayha thinned her lips not liking the dream she had was going down the drain. If only Amani knew what she had planned for them.

"I will." The determination in Amani's voice made Fayha smile, she knows her cousin will get her husband no matter the cost and no matter the situation. That is all she wanted. He should get married to whoever he wants, even the Miss Universe but if their love is back in sight, no one will be able to take Bushra Amani's place in Mika'il Malik's heart or even his home.

"Better do o! I don't want that tall pole to get him." Amani laughed so hard hearing the way she is talking about the President's daughter.

The sun slowly began to slide from the sky, pulling the blue canopy on its fall and slowly creeping behind was an ominous black shroud. The sun was beginning to set,

casting subtle hues of dusk across the sky and she still is thinking of ways to have him back in her arms. Will she ever be able to do so or will the new wife coming to their home have him all to herself?

She became nervous all of a sudden thinking her husband won't look at her because he is marrying another woman very soon. Oh her God! She really has made an extremely colossal mistake ignoring her own husband. Even if the humanity will be in her hands, she won't be able to say why she stopped caring about him for that time. Even with her baby, she still has lots of time for them to spend but something just clouded her vision and her head became blank as white canvas ready for a painter to pour out his dreams to brighten it.

It's like it just happened to her too hearing about him getting married. Maybe if he hasn't took that step, she wouldn't have seen her fault and how much she disappointment she has caused her husband. And if she could remember clearly, he has tried all he could to make them work when they started drifting down the drain.

This is the push she needs and now, she will fight tooth and nail for her husband. No President's daughter will bring fear into her heart not when she is always calm and collected in such situations. No matter where or when, she always had a calm heart and she would want to think about it with it. Just like Fayha said, she only need to blow on the lights that was burning in their hearts. Just a little push and apology will do, so she hopes. She wants to have him all by herself for the time being before another specie walks into their home.

Oh no, she don't mind having her in her home. Just the thought of not seeing what is happening between her husband and his wife don't sit well with her and she knows her husband don't have any other house out there. That is the only completed house he has and it is big enough to have four wives in there. All she could do is adjust and let him do what he thinks is right.

"Baby, you need to sleep." She rocked Anaan in her arms around ishā prayer but she is not having it.

Amani knows what she wants. She wants to see her father before going to sleep but she is darn sleepy to even wait but her daughter is so stubborn like her father so she sat down on the rocking chair and move them together but still, no trace of sleep is in her eyes.

"Dada..Dada..." Amani wants to remove her hair from it's roots knowing that day is one of the days Mika'il don't come back home early so she don't know what to do.

She brought out her breast and started breastfeeding her while still rocking her up and down and she fell asleep in no time making Amani sigh in relief and waited patiently for sleep to beckon her but it didn't.

Her husband is marrying another woman very soon. In less than twenty one days to be exact.

No, she is ready to fight and take in the arctic cold chilling her bones. In just less than Twenty One Days, she won't be able to have her husband all to herself but she is ready to fight for the love she wasted and she will do that In Twenty One Days and that is her vow before her head hit the pillow. She cuddled her daughter and fell into a dreamless sleep willing her mind to dream about a way to have her husband and she did.

She was so anxious that she couldn't sleep well so she stood up to execute her plan.
