I had no idea how long I'd been lying in my bed since Riley ordered Caspian's things to be burned. My heart was in pain and it was making it hard for me to breathe.
I just wanted all of this to end, but every time I thought of putting an end to my life, I thought of Caspian. I could never do this to him. I promised him I would stay strong, but how could I when Riley took everything that was helping me to survive this place?
