Sophia's POV"I let her escape. Please punish me!", I heard my helper say. My jaw dropped. "She is innocent. Please let her go"."Stop it, please!". I took a deep breath in. "I beg you. Sophia's POVInside his room, I found myself glancing around the walls. He had paintings of himself in portraits and landscapes. He had artworks too and a war armory. Sophia's POV.The next couple of days were better than the rest of my life.I had freedom. I was protected and more importantly, I was at peace with myself.It bothered me that I had not seen Derrick and I did not know how he was doing but aside from that, I was fine.All my scars had healed thanks to Alpha Brandon and his maids, once again, I was fine.Brandon had tried his hardest to give me the best comfort he could think of, even in the midst of not having as much as he had before his pack lands were taken from him.
