Mini wiped the tears away from her cheeks with her elbow as she held onto the steering wheel, skillfully swerving and keeping her eyes on the road to prevent them from having an accident.

She heaved a sigh of relief when the path in her front revealed a tarred road. She unconsciously placed a hand on her sick husband's thigh and whipped her head around to check on him.

Jonathan's head rested on the window and spit was gathered in the corner of his mouth. She lovingly wiped the saliva off the corner of his mouth and cleaned her hand on the back of her shirt.
