DAD?

Derek and Jenny sat calmly under one of the tall trees in the woods in a bid to catch their breath. Before they split ways - or whatever it was thatvthtu were going to do next. They had been there for a while and had used the opportunity to talk about a few things concerning their different lives.

"So.. why don't you just mind link your dad? It's not like he lost all his werewolves powers as soon as he handed over the pack alpha powers to you." Jenny stated briefly as she picked up a stone Frome the ground and started to play with it using her fingers.

Derek sighed slowly. He could not help but wonder why the hell she would think that he had not tried doing that. He raised an eyebrow as he stared at her for a moment juggle the stone that she had picked with her fingers.

"He - it never connected." He stated after a while. "The mind link I mean, he could probably be dead or he might still be alive, and if there's a chance that he might still be alive.."

He stood up from the root of th
