Devon laid beside Alice on the bed, worry was evident in his eyes. When she stirred a little and her eyes fluttered open, a weak smile spread across his face. Alice could only stare at him and not smile back as a shrill pain erupted in her head. She groaned and clenched her forehead, the memory of the night before came and invaded her mind quickly. She turned to Devon abruptly with questions in her eyes.

"What happened?" She asked in a groggy voice.

"You were in heat" Devon told her the truth, he didn't want to lie to her anymore.

"Heat?" She asked in confusion and Devon nodded.

He didn't know how to explain the whole situation to her. "Why don't you take a bath and then we can have breakfast" Alice didn't argue and did as he said, her whole head was aching real bad. When she came out of the bathroom Devon was waiting for her with a tray of food in his hands.
