Chapter 82

Alice and joan to their great gladness emerged at the pack house in sparrow city. They stood at the entrance gate, trying to see if anyone was at the guard post, but it was empty. This made the two girls exchange looks. Alice had stayed in the Sparrow City pack house for a while and never once was the gate left unguarded. It was the biggest red flag that something was definitely wrong.

Joan and Alice pushed the gate open slowly and with effort. After that they entered into the vast compound which was empty. "Hello!" Alice yelled trying to get somebody's attention, but was left with Deafening silence.

The only sound they could hear was the sound of their footsteps as they walked futher into the premises. They arrived at huge mahogany french doors and was Surprised to see it ajar.

"Alice, I'm really worried now. This isn't normal. How can no one be here." Joan whispered as her eyes scruntized the entire area.
