"Devon…" Alice called him softly, his name grazed her lips with longing. , she wanted to run toward him and flung her arms around his neck.

Devon kept his eyes on her and a disturbingly eerie feeling crept in the air as Alice's heart refused to feel anything but scare.

"Devon''Alice called out Devon softly again but got a growl as a reply instead. His mind was in complete chaos. What had happened all of a sudden?. He even slept on the same bed with her, but never had be once lost complete control of his wolf.

"Don't come any closer!" He growled, trying to warn Alice, who was stepping forward and closer to him slowly

This sudden outburst startled Alice and made her take a step back unconsciously, yet this little action was regarded with another snarl as loud as the first one. His wolf wanted her to come closer and not back away.
